Tyler FD encourages those without power to seek shelter ahead of freezing temperatures tonight


With temperatures expected to dip into the twenties tonight, the Tyler Fire Department encourages residents to check on elderly or disabled neighbors in the area.

If you are experiencing a power outage due to recent high winds, please consider staying with friends and family until power is restored. For emergency sheltering assistance, you may contact the American Red Cross at 903-581-7981.

The following are East Texas power outages as of 5 p.m. on Thursday according to Oncor.
