Smith County peace officer arrested

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

A peace officer for Smith County Constable Precinct One was arrested on Monday night.

Kazdin King is charged with deadly conduct - discharge of a firearm individual.

King, who has been a peace officer in Smith County for a little more than two years, was arrested in the 100 block of East 25^th Street in Tyler.

Precinct One Constable Henry Jackson would not give any details Wednesday on King's arrest but said he would release more information Thursday.
