LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -
A Longview man has been charged with the murder of a mother and her daughter.
On Thursday, the Gregg County grand jury returned a sealed indictment charging Joshual O'Steven Reese with the October murder.
On October 10, officers and detectives from the Longview Police Department responded to the residence of LaToya Reese after a family member arrived to check on Reese. Reese and her daughter Mya Sebron were found dead. They had both been shot.
After an investigation. the Longview Police Department presented their case to the grand jury who returned the indictment against Joshual Reese. Reese was already in the Gregg County jail on other charges.
On Friday morning, Reese was brought before the 188th District Court and his bond was set at $1.5 million. Formal arraignment is scheduled for January 4, 2013.
