Reports of shots fired in South Tyler was training exercise

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

The report of shots fired on South Beckham in South Tyler Friday afternoon was actually a Tyler Police training exercise.

KLTV confirmed with Officer Don Martin that police officers were training at a gun range. No shots have been fired on South Beckham in Tyler.
