Contestant With Texas Ties Makes Game Show History

He's making game show history.

Ken Jennings has appeared as the Jeopardy champ for an unprecedented 29th time and so far has won $920,960.00.

On Monday he's going to try and break into the millions. Jennings parents are from from Muleshoe, Texas, which is just outside of Lubbock.  Many in the Texas Panhandle are gathering around televisions every day, hoping for another victory.

In the past the quiz show had a five game winning limit, but to mark its 20th season last September, Jeopardy took away that rule and allowed contestants to keep going until they lose.

Be sure to tune in Monday at 11:00 a.m. to KLTV 7 to see if Jennings becomes Jeopardy's first millionaire.
