Balloon Pilot hits Bulls-eye in Key Grab

One Longview pilot stands to walk away richer after a good performance in the Great Texas Balloon Race. In the "key grab" contest , the goal is for the balloonist to fly over the target and toss a ring over the center pole. It's so difficult that it's been a few years since someone actually won... But it paid off big for one pilot.

Now it's a two day contest so today's winner may have to share the money if another balloonist hits the target tomorrow. Pilot "Will Lapointe" of Oklahoma snagged the bulls eye this morning at the competition. Lapointe becomes the first pilot in several years to actually hit the bulls eye, and stands to win a prize of 12-thousand dollars *if* he remains the only one to hit the target.
