Emergency crews responded to a fatality accident north of Lindale Thursday evening.
One person died in the one-vehicle accident. 65-year-old Lonnie Williams died in the crash, and his wife, Mae Williams, was injured. She was transported to East Texas Medical Center where, according to DPS Trooper Jean Dark, she is stable.
The accident occurred on Hwy 69N near Lindale Club Lake road, or CR 4148.
DPS troopers were notified of the crash in far northern Smith County around 4:45 p.m. Thursday.
It is not known if there are any other injuries in the crash.
