The sound of clapping, laughter and smiles fill the courtroom and with that 14-month old Liza Sue now has a mom and dad, plus a 3-year-old brother and a 6-year-old sister.
Not to mention another brother on the way.
"We decided to become foster parents. we let our two biological children pray about it with us and they were part of the decision. so, they've been a part of loving her from the beginning. so, this is a big day for them too," Liza Sue's adopted mom, Lacy Yarborough said.
The Yarboroughs had just welcomed Liza Sue into their home...when they found out they were expecting another child in February.
"The day we found out, they told us that we would be able to adopt Liza this summer and that evening we found out we were pregnant. so we kind of went from 2 to 4 in one day," Lacy said.
The path to adoption all started when they decided to foster children in need of a home.
"We became foster parents and through the foster system we realized that we needed to adopt this girl and we felt the Lord leading us," Luke Yarborough said.
A path that included the whole family including the feels and emotions of their biological children.
"It's awesome because you wonder how your kids will respond and they've been great they treat her like a sister and all the good and bad that goes with that but it's great to see that and see them except her and also our extended family," Luke said.
The entire family showing little Liza the Gift of Love.
"Finally making Liza a real part of our family forever," Lacy said.
The Yarboroughs say they plan to adopt again. It's just a matter a time.
