CASS COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -
East Texas authorities are now calling the deaths of two people found inside a Cass County home a double homicide.
Deputies with the Cass County Sheriff's Office say they found the bodies of 47-year-old Doyle Pollard and 42-year-old Dyrika Jones inside Pollard's home.
Deputies were asked to check the home after Pollard's co-workers became worried that he did not show up to work on Monday.
Investigators say the bodies may have been there since Sunday morning.
Authorities said several persons of interest are being interviewed, but no one has been arrested. Deputies also said the pair was not married.
The Texas Rangers are helping investigate the case.
