Pedestrian hit in DWI accident has died

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

A Longview man has died in a local hospital from serious injuries he sustained after being struck by a vehicle on Wednesday night.

The man was sent to the hospital Wednesday night after he was struck by a car driven by 34-year-old Sarah Reeves.

It happened in the 1900 block of Lee Street in Longview around 7:00 p.m.

24-year-old Lynden Alexander Bell was hit by Reeves, and suffered life-threatening injuries and was initially on life-support.

Reeves was given a blood test and was arrested for DWI.

Reeves has bonded out and other charges may be pending. Authorities do not have the results of the blood test at this time.
