Former Police Officer Pleads Guilty To Theft Charges

A former Longview police officer pleads guilty today to stealing money from the high school Crimestopper's fund.

Robert Adams was sentenced to two years probation and ordered to repay the $2,000. Adams had worked as a resource officer at the Longview high school for 9 years.

Back in April, Adam's sergeant found money missing from the school's Crimestopper account. Adams quit during the internal investigation.

His peace officer's license was also revoked.
