Kilgore College classes back in session after scabies outbreak

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

The cosmetology school at Kilgore College in Longview is open again after a scabies outbreak shut the school down.

The dean of the college says any student with scabies had to provide a doctors release before being allowed back in the school.

The outbreak started last week when two students got the parasite.

Classes were canceled Friday through Monday Nov. 14, while the entire cosmetology school was deep cleaned.
