Accident on busy Smith Co. highway sends two to hospital

An accident on Tyler's Hwy 110 on Wednesday afternoon caused traffic delays and sent two to a local hospital.

According to Tyler Police, the driver of one of the involved vehicles pulled out of Texas Workforce Solutions onto 110, or Troup Highway. A second car was traveling northbound and collided with the first vehicle.

One of the cars was sent into a roadside ditch as a result. The drivers of both vehicles were taken by EMS to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

One lane of traffic is closed, but traffic continues to flow in all other lanes.
