The Kilgore College Ranger football team has accepted a bid to play in the inaugural Brazos Valley Bowl on Saturday, December 1, at Texas A&M University's Kyle Field in College Station.
Kickoff is set for noon, and KC will face the Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers.
Kyle Field is known as The Home of the 12th Man and has a capacity of 82,589 – the13th largest stadium in the NCAA.
The 11th-ranked KC Rangers (8-2) and the 13th-ranked NW Rangers (7-2) will meet for a third time in the postseason, with the team's splitting the last two meetings in 1965 and 1989 at the Shrine Bowl.
General admission tickets are $5 while 18-and-under are free and college students are free with ID.
