Lindale FD responds to mobile home fire in northern Smith County

LINDALE, TX (KLTV) -

Crews rushed to put out a mobile home fire in northern Smith County Tuesday night.

Firefighters say received a call just before 6:30 p.m. from someone who spotted flames coming out of a window at a mobile home on Highway 69 north of Loop 323, outside of Tyler.

Firefighters say the fire looks to have started in a side bedroom.

No one was inside the home at the time of the fire, and the cause is still under investigation.
