Coming up on Good Morning East Texas...
The parents of an East Texas toddler who was found dead in a septic tank, will be in court today. However, the charges they face are unrelated to their son's death. We'll go over the charges this morning.
Plus, a federal manhunt has come to an end. We'll show you how authorities tracked down the suspect in a string of armed robberies in Jacksonville.
And, Christmas has come early to East Texas this week, and people are gearing up for the holidays. The Junior League of Tyler's Annual Mistletoe and Magic kicks off today. Good Morning East Texas' Samantha Jordan will join us live from Harvey Convention Center to give us a sneak peek at the Christmas spirit over there this morning.
After another chilly start, Grant Dade says this afternoon will be warmer
than we have seen as our winds increase out of the southeast. Highs this
afternoon will reach the middle 70s with southeasterly winds increasing to 15
miles per hour and gusty. Tonight will not be quite as cool as
temperatures only drop into the middle 50s in most areas. Friday will be
partly cloudy and very warm. High temperatures will reach the lower 80s
with strong southeasterly winds 15 to 20 miles per hour. Details on a
strong cold front headed our way this weekend on Good Morning East Texas.
