LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - Longview Police believe speed was a factor in a wreck Wednesday afternoon that killed one person and sent three others to the hospital.
Police said four people were in a single cab truck when the wreck happened, around 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of Airline Road and Skyline Drive in Longview. Two of them where in the cab and the other two, including 18-year-old Cristian Ali Monreal were sitting in the bed of the truck.
Cristian Ali Monreal died from his injuries.
The driver of the truck was given a ticket for failure to control speed.
The condition of the three people who were hospitalized has not been released.
