A boil order issued Monday for Craft-Turney Water Supply Corporation customers in Jacksonville has been rescinded.
According to a press release Monday, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required PWS No. 0370016 to issue the boil order to inform customers that due to the presence of contaminants or an interruption in service, water from the system required boiling before consumption.
On Tuesday, the company alerted customers that corrective actions restores adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and provided testing results to the TCEQ that indicated the boil order could be lofted.
