TYLER, TEXAS (KLTV) - It was 18 Years ago, when Rodrick Dunn made the play, that no one can forget.
"That play, it is just hard to say one word that can explain it," said Dunn. "It was just a great feelind and a great play and with great teammates, can't ask for anything better than that."
"You can go anywhere in East Texas and most people will tell you 'I remember that game,' or they saw it on You Tube," said Marcus Cain.
Cain and Dunn were part of the 16-0 John Tyler team in 1994.
They made history, when, in the playoffs, they blew a 24 point lead in the last 2:12 against Plano East.
Dunn then ran back a kickoff with no time remaining to win the game.
The Lions went on to win state.
Dunn's touchdown won an award from ESPN.
The game is considered one of the best of all-time.
Now, Edward Christian, want to recreate it.
"Oh my gosh, it really is a kick in the pants game," said Christian. "It is probably the most incredible high school football game that was ever played."
Christian, the president/CEO of ChrisDol Entertaiment in New York, is using the game as a backdrop to a reality show.
Filming began today.
"And the idea is, we bring these guys back, 20 years later, to get them to have to train and replay the game," said Christian.
"It is going to bring the best out of all of us, I think we are going to come together and make it a phenomenal show," said Jerrid Beal, a member of the '94 team.
Cameras will document their training as well as their personal histories in the last 18 years.
It will all culminate with them suiting up and taking on Plano East, again, to replay the greatest game of all time.
"We had 27,000 people following us, the city shut down when we went," said Beal. "So just all of those memories and how it brought us all together and how we can relive it once again, it is great."
Even 18 years later, the JT players...confident.
"Plano East, we coming, two times around," said Dunn.
"2nd time around, probably worse for them," said Cain.
Quarterback Morris Anderson finished with a bold prediction, "Putting us together again with Plano East, we will win, how about that!?"
Filming of the show will continue for the following months and Christian expects to replay the game itself, at Cowboys Stadium, sometime in the summer of 2013.
