At the time, Valentine was placed on administrative leave, and CMS said it would wait for the outcome of the investigation to make a decision on his status as a teacher.
Friday, CMS confirmed Valentine was terminated on October 30th, two days prior to his death.
Compassion came for the victims at Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology.
Despite problems, Clyde Valentine was remembered as a caring instructor.
Elijah Hackett was one of his students.
"He kind of taught us things in a good way. He was a pretty good teacher. I didn't something like this would happen."
Traces of yellow tape, and unopened mail point to the eeriness at the home on Swift Arrow Lane.
Craig Adams moved in just across the street several weeks ago.
"Just an argument last week. They were yelling. That they need to learn to respect each other, and that's all they kept yelling. You need to respect me, "he said." I heard that about 10 times and that's the only disturbance we heard."
The alleged victim is not a CMS student, and the alleged incidents did not occur on school grounds.
Detectives with the Homicide Unit are canvassing the neighborhood to determine whether there are any witnesses to this incident.
Police also told WBTV that it does not appear to be a random attack, but gave no other details as of 11:45 p.m. Thursday.
Video from Sky 3 shows police canvassing the neighborhood. The street is currently blocked off.
Detectives continue to ask for the public's assistance in developing information in this case.
