Tyler Apartment Fire Leaves Families Without A Home

A fire at a Tyler apartment complex has left several families without a home.
The fire broke out Saturday evening at the Woodtrail Apartments on Shiloh Road.
Flames shot through the roof of the building.
At least 3 units were burned. 3 others suffered smoke and water damage.
Firefighters responded quickly to the scene.
" When we arrived at 5:30," said Tyler Fire Chief Robert Dear, "the entire attic was on fire. We lost probably three units from the attic fire, but we were able to control it pretty quick."
No injures were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
