Custody battle over obese dog grabbing headlines

An unusual custody battle out of Portland, Oregon has got the whole country talking.

It's all over Obie the dachshund.

Obie's caretaker is accused of not providing him with veterinary care, and that she's exploiting the dog because he's obese.

The Oregon Dachshund Rescue claims the caretaker is not Obie's owner, and that Obie was surrendered to them.

Obie's caretaker wants the dog to stay with her and her two other dogs, until the legal matter is resolved.
