Arrest made in attempted convenience store burglary

Tyler police are investigating an attempted burglary at a convenience store overnight.

Just before 4:30 am, officers responded to the burglary call at the Midway Food Mart at 533 S. Broadway. When officers arrived on the scene they found the business had been broken into.

The suspect, 18-year-old, Damarian Amie of Tyler was apprehended nearby and arrested for attempted burglary.
