WOOD COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -
TransCanada is taking action against protestors who have delayed work on the multi-state Keystone XLl pipeline.
In Wood County court, a visiting judge signed off on a temporary restraining order to ban several individual protestors plus groups that have disrupted work on the Keystone Pipeline.
The pipeline will go all the way from Canada, cutting through East Texas before coming to an end on the Texas Gulf Coast.
In early October, actress Daryl Hanna was arrested, after officials with the Wood County Sheriff's Office say she stood in front of machinery and halted progress of construction on the pipeline. Both Hanna and the landowner faces multiple charges, as do several others in connection with the Tar Sands Blockade.
