A Tyler restaurant has reopened, after the Northeast Public Health District asked them to close.
Officials with the health department say that the restaurant was not closed for a violation, but because of a paperwork issue surrounding a change in ownership.
They said the restaurant closed Tuesday morning and remained close through Friday.
As for potential diners, they were met by an employee asking them to dine elsewhere for the day.
"A young lady came outside, gave me this card. It has the manager's name on it, and said they were having paperwork issues and they'd be closed for a couple of hours and go away. So I went away," said Paul Hix of Grand Saline. "I don't know how they're making money, no butts in the seats."
The health district said that there is absolutely not a food issue and that the restaurant will re-open once inspectors have finished reviewing the paperwork.
