Voting numbers in for the first day in ETX

EAST TEXAS (KLTV) -

Numbers are in for the first day of early voting in Smith and Gregg County.

On Monday, 4379 people in Smith County cast their vote--an increase from back in 2008, when only 3600 36 participated in the first day of early voting.

Gregg County numbers show 3300 people voted there on Monday, roughly the same amount that turned out in 2008.
