It
was a fun afternoon of air hockey as Dez and I put our skills to the test. Dez
is a very goal driven teenager. He enjoys being around people and often takes
the role of a leader. When it comes to school he enjoys science and reading
classes. Looking ahead to his future, Dez sees himself on the open road.
"A
truck driver," Dez said, "because I like to travel."
Some
of his favorite activities include playing basketball and working on computers.
He also enjoys watching movies, playing football, and learning.
Dez
also loves to, "listen to music," Dez said.
His
favorite kind of music is country.
"George
Strait, Tim McGraw," Dez said.
And
he loves anything to do with music. He's even built his own equipment!
"I
can build speakers," Dez said.
Dez
craves love and has a great need to belong. He is a thinker and analyzes his
thoughts and feelings carefully before speaking.
As
for his three wishes, Dez wants to, "see one of my brothers that I haven't
seen," Dez said
He
also wants to play football and his third wish is to get out of foster care. Dez
would love for his forever family to include some older brothers. Brothers he
can look up to. Dez is excited about being adopted and has a strong desire to
find a family to call his own.
It
is very important to Dez that he find a family who he can trust and most
importantly show him the Gift of Love.
