ETX school raises funds for Wounded Warriors

Posted: Updated:

For the past few weeks, students and faculty members at Corrigan High School have been holding a fundraiser to support the Texas Wounded Warrior project.

A school assembly was held Thursday to present a check for $1000 to Dick Goetz, the Tyler, Texas president for Wounded Warriors.

Accompanied by Goetz was Lieutenant Colonel Kurk Kosmatka.

The retired soldier told students he was wounded in Iraq in 2007 and expressed how grateful he is for the Texas Wounded Warriors Project.

The Wounded Warrior Project is an organization that financially assists injured and disabled veterans.
