Five major battles, freed prisoners, and a "pocket pup" are only a few of Bill
Robertson's experiences In World War Two. Robertson's five major battles
include the Normandy landing. Battle for Northern France, the Battle of the
Bulge, the Rhine River crossing, and the Rhine Battle.
Robertson's 51st Engineer Combat Battalion was also the first group

many lives Robertson helped save was that of a little orphan Dachund puppy who
lived in Robertson's pocket until the war ended.
