Athens ISD Superintendent accepting position in Ft. Worth

ATHENS, TX (KLTV) -

An East Texas school district will have to find a new superintendent.

Tuesday, Athens ISD Superintendent Robert Steeber said he has verbally accepted a position as deputy executive director of administrative services at the Region XI Educational Services Center in Fort Worth.

Steeber has been with Athens ISD for a year. Before coming to Athens, he was with the S&S Consolidated ISD in Sadler, TX.
