ETX Free Health Screening to detect a "Silent Killer"

East Texans can now signup to receive a free ultrasound screening to detect a silent killer--Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm.

This type of aneurysm, often called AAA, comes with no symptoms. More than a million people in America have AAA, and are not diagnosed.

East Texans who are above 60 years old, have a history of smoking, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or a family history of the disease can register early to get a free screening.

The event will be Saturday October 6th, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It will be located at Holiday Retirement at Rosewood Estates in Tyler.
