BUFFALO, TX (KLTV) -

Investigators are looking for clues after three calves are shot and killed in an East Texas County.

Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) Special Ranger Brent Mast said two of the calves were shot Monday morning a rural road. Another calf was found shot in the head in the same area, but investigators believe that incident happened days before the calf was found.

TSCRA Rangers said they do believe the two shootings are connected.

The crimes have all happened on Farm-to-Market Road 831 south of Buffalo, which is about 40 miles southwest of Palestine.

Anyone with information is asked to call the TSCRA at 936-714-9066 or the Leon County Sheriff's Office at 903-536-2749.
