Dustin Rust trial delayed until Wednesday

SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

A two day delay in the court case against an East Texas constable.

Dustin Rust, who resigned as Precinct 3 Constable in August, is accused of operating a security company without a license and using county resources to do so.

Last month, a judge rejected a plea agreement in the case that would have dropped the charges.

Dustin Rust will be in court on Wednesday.
