(CNN) - October 1 has been set aside to celebrate something that may make you (and your stomach) very happy.

It's National Homemade Cookie Day!

This is the one day of the year when you can freely stuff your face with the chewy, gooey goodness that is the cookie.

The catch?

You have to make them yourself! (or visit KLTV's Mama Steph on Facebook or on our website for recipes!)
