The protest against the TransCanada Pipeline continues Monday in Wood County.
A protestor has somehow locked himself into the ground using concrete. The Wood County Sheriff is on the scene, attempting to remove the protestor.
The Sheriff's Department has put up a tarp as a screen from onlookers. They have also confiscated all cameras the protestors had with them Monday. They reportedly told the protestors that the cameras were evidence and belonged to Wood County now.
According to a press release from the Tar Sands protest group, the man who is chained to the ground is Alejandro de la Torre, 28.
Our Melanie Torre is on the scene and will update as further developments occur.
