100 Fans Donated For The Needy

Not everyone has an air-conditioner or even a way to circulate the air this summer. To help the less fortunate beat the heat, a local Christian group donated 100 fans to The Salvation Army today. The Sonrise Prayer Breakfast group has been donating box fans for the needy for almost ten years now.

The fans will be kept at The Salvation Army and distributed throughout the summer. Organizers say in many cases the fans not only give relief from the heat, but prevent heat strokes as well and mean a great deal to their recipients.

The "Sonrise Prayer Breakfast" group has been meeting every Thursday morning for twenty three years.
