Suspect in two E. Texas robberies arraigned today

Coming up on Good Morning East Texas...

We'll tell you about a suspect in two East Texas robberies who will be arraigned and charged today. Both robberies happened within a 10 hour period, and police believe they were committed by that suspect.

And, the lights were shining bright in Tinsel town last night as all eye were on Hollywood. Who got the gold and who shocked the crowd? We'll give you the Emmy Award wrap up.

Plus, there will be a special feature on this morning at 11:30 a.m. We will be streaming live from Willowbrook Country Club in Tyler during a visit from Leeza Gibbons, co-host of America Now. She is in Tyler as part of a fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Alliance of Smith County. Leeza, who's mother had Alzheimer's, has a foundation to support caregivers of those with the disease. Be sure to go to and tune in online at 11:30 a.m.

And, after a very warm weekend the start of the work week looks to remain above normal.  Highs this afternoon will be in the lower to middle 90s with lots of sunshine.  Tuesday will be very warm again with highs reaching the lower 90s.  A small area of low pressure will develop across central Oklahoma tomorrow.  This will not provide any rain for the area but will increase the pressure gradient across the area meaning our winds will increase.  Winds tomorrow will average around 15 miles per hour with a few gusts over 20 miles per hour at times.  With the dry air and dry vegetation the fire danger will be elevated tomorrow so even though much of East Texas is not under a burn ban it would be a good idea not to do any outdoor burning tomorrow as fires could easily get out of hand.  Grant has more details coming up on Good Morning East Texas.
