Police officer getting a bad 'rap' for her side job

Good afternoon, everyone! We hope your day is going along well. You're half-way to the weekend!

We've been working hard for you in the newsroom today, and here are just some of the things we have in store for you at 4, 5, and 6 p.m.:

At 4 we're going to show you the story of a police officer who is getting a 'bad rap' for her side job. We'll tell you why her singing is causing such a stir around the community at 4, and you'll see some video of her rapping, as well.

We all love to buy pumpkins to bake with and decorate with this time of year, but this year, they may be harder to get your hands on. We'll tell you why at 4.

And new at 4:30, we'll tell you about a driver who was brutally assaulted by a Marine who was a passenger in his taxi. The video is unbelievable, and the assault has truly affected the driver; he'll tell you his story coming up.

We'll also tell you at 4:30 about one of the most talked-about stars on t.v. these days: Honey BooBoo. We'll show you a brand new interview with her as our Shaley Sanders tells you more about this precocious child...whether you like it or not. ;)

New at 5: Federal investigators are looking into a small plane crash in Florida that injured two people. Video of the plane was captured as the plane was landing. Melanie Torre tells you more about it tonight.

We'll show you new video at 5 that was captured on home video of the flood damage in Tucson, Arizona. Many homes have thousands of dollars worth of damage and are having a difficult time getting insurance help. Check that out coming up.

And at 6, we'll tell you what TJC officials have said about the recently reported sexual assault on their campus. There's been a huge change in that story, and we'll fill you in with the new details tonight.

We'll also tell you about a Longview man who has been arrested after a cyber-sting for online solicitation of a minor. The man thought he was going to meet with a 14-year-old, but he was in for a huge surprise.

All of that plus many more stories, so many that it takes two hours to cover them all! We hope you'll join us for that and, of course, your best local weather coverage from the StormTracker7 weather center.

We'll see you soon!
