Gift of Love: Japiera and Jamya

It was a magical afternoon as sisters Japiera and Jamya made their way through the Tyler Rose Museum looking all the dresses of past rose queens.

Japiera is a sweet, loving and considerate child who loves school.

"I like science, social studies. Those are my two main ones," 13-year-old Japiera said.

And she is already looking to her future.  It's something close to her heart, a passion.

"I really want to be just a singer," Japiera said.

And Japiera says she can sing! She loves Hip Hop and R&B.  She's inspired by a variety of singers.

"Michael Jackson, Carrie Underwood, Beyonce, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber," Japiera said.

Japiera can't wait to try out for American Idol.

She is closely bonded with her sister, Jamya.

"We've been through a lot, a lot. And I just want to stay with her and make sure nothing happens to her. I'm hoping we get adopted and go to a nice home.">

9-year-old Jamya is also described as a sweet and loving child.  Like her sister, Jamya loves school.

"I like to learn science, art social studies, language arts," Jamya said.

Jamya wants to be a veterinarian. @

"So I can care for animals and love animals. What's your favorite animal? A panda," Jamya said.

She also likes to joke around, play outside, play with Barbie dolls and play dress up.

When it comes to her favorite foods, veggies make Jamya's list.

"Spaghetti, hamburgers, vegetables, corn, rice and meatballs," Jamya said.

And she loves peach cobbler.

Most importantly both Japiera and Jamya hope to find a forever family together.

"Somebody who cares for me and loves me, love me and love me and love me very much," Jamya said.

A family that can show these lovely ladies the Gift of Love.
