Tornado sends tree through elderly woman's home

MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) - One woman is still feeling Hurricane Isaac's wrath as a tree came down and crushed the right side of her house.

A tornado touched down and hit the tree causing extensive damage to the home the 70-year-old woman has lived in for nearly 35 years.

She didn't have the money to make repairs on this kind of damage due to her lack of insurance.

One man who owns a tree service learned about her problem and offered to remove the tree from her house--free of charge.

He hopes helping this woman will create a domino effect and others will step up and help those that are still recovering from Isaac's damage.
