East Texans makes it into the Guinness Book of World Records

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Several East Texans are now in the Guinness Book of World Records.

The East Texas Filipino community began making lumpias, a Filipino egg roll, all to raise money for Ross Sajo, a mother fighting cancer.

The group grew by the hundreds, which sparked the idea to enter the Guinness Book of World Records for "most people making spring rolls simultaneously."

On September 2, 327 people participated in the event, making Team Ross official record holders.
