Wet weather couldn't stop the re-scheduled blues festival in Tyler. The 11th annual Texas Blues Festival was, once again, threatened with some pretty heavy rain Saturday. The festival had to be rescheduled back in April.
Just after 6 p.m., high winds and rain had spectators scrambling for cover. The downpour lasted about 45 minutes, and it forced the music to shutdown for awhile, but those who showed weren't turned away disappointed.
The music picked back up and all the bands who were scheduled to play, did. Officials said despite the rain, everyone was pleased with this years festival.
