Yawning at work? Red eyes? Forgot to shower? You must have a sleepless baby!

Good afternoon, everyone! We hope your week is off to a great start.

Here's some of what we have for you today on KLTV-7 news:

Getting a newborn to sleep without crying is not always easy. A new study is out that says there are ways to help you and your baby actually get some sleep at night. Dr. Ed Dominguez will join us at 5 to discuss this and, we hope, give you some tips to help get some rest for your family.

Tomorrow marks the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. As people prepare to honor the thousands who lost their lives, the government is expected to make a big announcement, and our Lexie Cook will have the story for you at 5.

At 6, we'll tell you about the Texas Medical Board's disciplinary action against 55 physicians in our state; seven of the 55 are in East Texas. More on that is coming up.

And new West Nile numbers have been released, including two more deaths in ETX, sadly. Stay tuned for that update.

And we are happy to announce that today marks the debut of our new 4:00 p.m. news, hosted by familiar faces Taylor Hemness, Anissa Centers and Jennifer Hines. We're calling it simply "East Texas News at 4" and we are excited to share more video content, more breaking news, and your most accurate and dependable forecast, as always, from Chief Meteorologist Mark Scirto. We want to be there for you when you need us; check us out today at 4, and let us know what you think!

We'll see you soon!
