Peachtree City police looking for golf cart flasher

Peachtree City police have stepped up patrols to find a flasher who drives a golf cart.

This week, four women reported they were flashed. Officers said they were walking or running in the afternoon or early evening on the golf cart path.

The man is described as in his late teens or early 20s. He has a thin build and short, wavy brown hair.

Police said in each case the guy drove past the women, made a U-turn and then drove past them again and flashed them.

"It's very serious. We don't want this to escalate into a child being involved or something else like a physical assault," said Peachtree City Police Lt. Mark Brown.

Officers are focusing their patrols on a mile-long section of cart path north of Flat Creek Road where the flashing occurred.

The suspect's golf cart is described as burgundy or dark colored with cream seats.

Police were encouraging residents to keep a cell phone on them and call 911 immediately. They said immediate notification would help them catch the flasher.
