LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

A 15-year-old girl is claiming a post she made on her Facebook page led to her being sexually assaulted on Monday in Lufkin.

Jameion Demond Doggett, 22, of Lufkin, is charged with second-degree sexual assault of child.

According to an arrest affidavit, the girl posted on her Facebook page a request for a phone. She said Doggett answered the post and said she could have his.

The girl said she went to Doggett's house on Spence Street and sat down on the couch. That is when Doggett sexually assaulted her. The girl said she cried for help and he let her up and she went to a friend's house and called the police.

An investigator spoke with Doggett and learned he had a felony warrant in Cherokee County and placed him under arrest. At the police station, the investigator interviewed Doggett, who admitted to having sexual intercourse with the girl, according to the affidavit.

Because the girl is below the age of consent, Doggett was charged with the sexual assault.

He is being held in the Angelina County Jail on a collective bond of $80,000.
