Police in Wake Village ask for your help to find those responsible for shooting and killing a man inside his East Texas home, and authorities now have video they believe can help with their investigation.
"It took us hours to get it," Wake Village Police Chief Ronnie Sharp says of the security video that could help police solve last week's murder of a Texarkana man.
As he collapsed in the streets after suffering a gunshot wound, Troydricus Robinson, 29, allegedly told authorities that an unidentified man and woman was responsible the shooting.
On Wednesday, police released a video they believe might help identify two women as persons of interest as well as the car in which they were riding.
"We have been able to determine they did meet our victim at approximately 6:30 to 7 p.m. prior to his homicide at 10:30," Sharp says.
Sharp says the women were in the area selling perfume and cologne and that Robinson spparently did business with them.
Authorities describe the women as black, standing 5'6" and 5'9", respectively. One is skinny in build and the other heavy set. They describe the car as a mid- to late-90s model Lexus colored beige or brown.
"We have received information that he was possibly going to meet with one or both of these individuals at a later time," Sharp says. "That is why it is so important for us to locate these persons of interest to interview them."
