Family remembers wildfire victims one year later

Coming up on Good Morning East Texas...

The flames have been out for nearly a year, but in one East Texas town, the wounds are still there. Hear their memories of the wildfire that claimed the lives of a mother and daughter.

And, dozens of cats were rescued from hazardous living conditions in an East Texas home. We'll have the details on the rescue and what you can do to help.

Plus, the search will likely continue this morning for a missing fisherman in Smith County. Crews were on Pleasure Acres Lake near Chapel Hill until after 10 p.m. searching for the fisherman who was reported missing around 7:30 p.m.

Good Wednesday Morning East Texas.  The extreme summer heat looks to continue through the end of the work week.  Highs will be in the upper 90s today and around 100 degrees both Thursday and Friday.  A cold front late Friday will give us a slight chance of rain.  It still looks as though we will see much cooler weather behind the cold front this weekend.  Details are coming up on Good Morning East Texas.
