Flooding and rescues continue in the wake of Isaac

Coming up on Good Morning East Texas...

It is no longer a tropical storm, but it has definitely left its mark. More flooding and rescues continue in the wake of Isaac. We'll have the latest information on the storm.

And, the parents of Jake Kimbley were arrested Thursday. We'll tell you about more than two dozen charges the couple is facing and bring you the latest details of the investigation of Jake's death.

Plus, Good Morning East Texas' Bethany Moore will be live in the studio to break down what boosters and immunizations kids should be getting this time of year as they head back to school.

Isaac has weakened and is now just an area of low pressure over Arkansas.  The flow around the low pressure will give us a chance of isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms today.  Highs will reach the lower to middle 90s.   Tonight any shower activity that develops should begin to weaken rather rapidly around sunset allowing for warm but dry conditions for highs school football games.  Temperatures will drop into the middle 70s by Saturday morning.  For Saturday we look to have partly cloudy skies with a slight chance of a late day storm.  Highs will reach the middle 90s.  Looks as though one more heat wave will build into the area as we start September.  Details are coming up on Good Morning East Texas.

Happy Friday!
