WINONA, TX (KLTV) -

Investigators found Jake's body early Wednesday inside a septic tank near his family's home in Winona.

Jake's death is being treated as a homicide, but investigators stress that right now, there are still no official suspects.

The scene near the family's home is still there, but not as active as it's been in days past. Crime scene tape is still wrapped around the home and authorities are guarding the property.

Officials are waiting on the autopsy results to come in so they can piece together how Jake died.

Authorities were hoping to have those results in by Friday.

Smith County prosecutors were also there on Friday but would not comment.
