Lon Morris students: what will they do now?

Well, it's here; we made it to Friday after what's been a busy week.

Here's some of what we're working on for you in the KLTV newsroom this afternoon:

Students at Lon Morris College found out today that their classes won't be available after all this fall. Now they're left wondering what to do next. We spoke with officials at TJC who are offering to help as much as they can at this late date. Join us for that at 5.

There's been an ammonia leak today at the Pilgrim's Pride plant in Mt. Pleasant, sending dozens to the hospital. We'll tell you what we know so far tonight at 5.

We'll also have FRESH by Brookshires with us tonight on In The Kitchen, and Gayle Helms from the Humane Society of East Texas is also going to join us. She's bringing Jessie and James with her. You'll have to tune in at 5 to see both of those fun segments!

KLTV's Jena Johnson will join us tonight with an update from the scene of little Jake Kimbley's death in Smith County. She spoke with little Jake's grandmother today, and she'll share that with you at 6, as well as the latest on the investigation into the cause of Jake's death.

We'll see you soon!
